Man the economy sux right now. But, hey Obama is gonna save us all. I know some of you really like him, but I have some problems with some of his ideas…like the guns stuff, etc. But, hey some of his ideas may pan out. I hope so. If they don’t Scott County Tennessee may cease to exist on what maps happen to have this little place in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, that is not the entry I am wanting to get into right now.
With the economy in such bad shape, I was needing some way to scrape up extra cash for thing little things like, oh I don’t know, the house payment. So I dug out a bunch of my old stuff and set about selling them on EBay. Wow, people will buy some wild stuff. Did you know some woman tried to sell her virginity on EBay? This little venture, however, is costing me in the end. Yea I am making some much needed money, but the time involved is monstrous. I come home from my job to, yep, check my auctions. Then I respond to them and get things ready to ship. Then get things cleaned up for the next auction. Then sometime in there I manage to squeeze in a little bit of Halo (necessity you know), just to then check my EBay stuff again. Sometimes, I even have to respond in this stage too. I then get to bed, usually after midnight, to wake up and start the process again. Whew.
I will have to say that it is fun to do and some of the people you get into contact with are great. But it is like swimming in the public pool, sometimes you get pissed on and there is the occasional terd to deal with. But all in all, I am enjoying myself and making some money. Even if I am dead tired many nights. I will eventually run out of things to sell and have to donate body to science. I wonder if you can do that on EBay? Naw, the shipping would be terrible. I would hate to see the feedback I would get on that sell. But if you wanna check out what I am selling my username is frost_bitten77. You never know what will be on there. I think I will forego the selling myself on EBay though…for now. Do I have any bids?
